Doda, November 10: Information, Education & Communication (IEC) activities, on “Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani” on land record information system portal, a unique initiative of Government of J&K under Digital India Land Records Modernisation Programme (DILRMP), launched formally in the district from DC office complex today.
DDC Chairman Dhananter Singh Kotwal launched the campaign in presence of Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma from conference hall of DC office Doda and highlighted that the digital platform of revenue record shall bring the transparency in the system and can address the major grievances pertaining to revenue department.
DC informed the audience that from today on every Wednesday and Saturday a special camp on Information, Education & Communication (IEC) shall be held at designated Tehsil office, Block office, Niabats, Patwar Khanas and Panchayat Ghars till December 31, and all the panchayats of the district shall be covered.
During the event a thorough power point presentation was displayed and the portal developed for the purpose was actually operated. It was informed that any individual can access the record by clicking on www.landrecords.jk.gov.in from anywhere.
The official launch programme was attended by BDC Chairpersons, DDC members, ADC Doda, ACR Doda, ACD Doda, ACP Doda, DIO Doda, Tehsildar HQ, Tehsildar Doda and media persons of print and electronic media.
