*JKAACL Sub Office Doda organised “Mushaira” at Doda*

Doda, November 26; In Connection with the celebrations of 75th Anniversary of Independence of India ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ and on the eve of Constitution Day a Multilingual Mushaira was organised by Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Sub Office Doda under theme ‘Beauty of Indian Constitutional Values’ at Town Hall Doda today.

Around Two Dozen poets of various languages participated in the poetic symposium from all over Chenab Valley and enthralled the audience present at the program by their poetry.

In his welcome address Mr. Slah-Ud-Din Tahir Special Officer Cultural Activities Doda welcomed the Poets and others present in the programme. He also highlighted the importance of celebrating the Constitution Day. He also through light on various provisions of Constitution which makes India truly democratic and secular.

The Mushaira was presided over by renowned Poet of the UT Abdul Qayoum Sagar Sehraie and Mr. Mohd. Ashraf Wani, District Information Officer Doda was Chief Guest on this occasion.

The entire activity was organised on the directions of Secretary Academy Mr. Rahul Pandey IAS and under guidence of Mr. Sanjeev Rana KAS Additional Secretary Central.
