*Mega anti encroachment drive by Revenue Officials in Doda* -790 Kanals of State/ Roshni land recovered in two days_

Doda, November 25: Going tough on encroachers through out the district mega anti encroachment drive is continuing in the district under the directions of District Magistrate Doda Vikas Sharma. It has been reported that Revenue Officials has retrieved about 790 Kanals of State and Roshni land from illegal possession of encroachers in two days which is the biggest drive ever launched in the district.

 

While giving the details it was informed that in Bhaderwah under the supervision of Tehsildar Bhaderwah, revenue team comprising of  Naib Tehsildar, Girdawar, Patwari, Chowkidar and Lambardar visited at village Kondhra (kharsa number 252) and retrieved 16 Kanal & 01 Marla state land which was in illegal possession of adjoining people. The retrieved land was handed over to lambardar and chowkidar with the instructions to prohibit people from further interference on state land and inform immediately to the Department regarding encroachment, if any.

 

At village Mundhar of Tehsil Kastigarh 150 kanal of State land and 04 kanal 17 Marla Roshni land is retrieved under Khasra no.1050.

 

At Village Mothi 131 kanal Roshni land and 279 kanal 10 marlas State land was evicted  from unlawful possession.

 

At Village Gadi of Tehsil Bhagwah 90 kanal and 06 marlas of State land including 46 kanal 12 marlas of Roshni land under survey no. 28 min was also retrieved.

 

Similarly, 49 Kanals & 01M of encroached govt land including 13Kanal  01 Marlas   vested under Roshni Act falling in Khasra NOs 539 & 564 of Tehsil Bhella was also retrieved as reported by Tehsildar  Bhalla.

While Chiralla reported retrieval of 91 kanal 01 marla state land out of which 15 kanal 9 marla was under Roshini in vallage Jhajka by revenue team headed by Naib Tehsildar Chiralla under the supervision of Tehsildar Chiralla.
