*POLICE COMMEMORATION DAY ORGANIZED HELD AT DPL DODA*

DODA, OCTOBER 21:- The “Police Commemoration Day” was observed at District Police Lines (DPL), Doda in the memory of Martyrs, who have scarified their lives for the peace and tranquility of nation, The program was witnessed by the NoKs of Police martyrs and other Officers of Police/Paramilitary /Civil Administration. Besides Chairman District Development Council Sh Dhananter Singh alongwith other counselor and Chairman Municipality Committee Doda  Sh Ved Parkash Gupta were also present on the occasion. Contingents of CRPF / IRP /SSB and District Police Doda participated in the commemoration day parade under the command of Shri Shouket Ali, KPS DySP (DAR) Doda.

 

 A rich floral tribute was offered for the eternal peace of the Martyrs by Sh. Abdul Qayoom JKPS, Addl. SP Bhaderwah on behalf of SSP Doda and the dignitaries and beloved of Martyrs. The names of Martyrs who achieved martyrdom during last one year, were read out by the Addl. SP Bhaderwah and rich tributes was paid to all Martyrs.  After commemoration Day parade, an interaction session was held with the family members of Martyrs in order to familiarize them about the schemes, which have been launched by the Government as well as Police department for the welfare of NoKs of Martyrs and also to redress their grievances pertaining to Police, Civil and other departments.  They were assured that District Police Doda is always standing with them and eager to help the NoKs of Police Martyrs at any point of time. At the end of programme, one gift was given to each martyr’s family by DDC Chairman and Addl. SP Bhaderwah on behalf of Doda Police.  

 

 CO IRP 5th Bn Shri Sanjeev Kumar, ASP Hqrs Doda Shri Master Popsy, SP Ops Doda Shri Raj Kumar, Dy CO IRP 5th Bn Shri P.N. Tickoo,  DySP Hqrs Doda Shri Jaswant Singh,  Officers of SSB.7th bn  and CRPF 76 Bn and many others officers of District administration and respectable of the town  were also present on the occasion.
