*Rashtriya Ekta Diwas;* *Rashtriya Ekta Pledge taking ceremony held at DC office complex and other Govt offices across the District.*

Doda, October 31; On the National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) District Administration Doda under the directions of UT administration and instructions of Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma, a  Pledge taking ceremony was held at DC office complex where Deputy Commissioner himself administered oath to the officers and officials working in the complex.   Similar pledge taking functions were held in other Govt offices across the Districtis. 

 

 It is pertinent to mention here that the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas is celebrated on October 31 every year to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

This year will mark the 146th anniversary of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel  (Iron Man of India). The objective of celebrating this day is to maintain the nation’s unity and to spread awareness about contributions of this great man to Indian history.
