*DC Doda participates in weekly block diwas program at Doda and Thathri, felicitates newly appointed Class IV candidates under Yogyata Se Rozgar Mahotsav* _Asks departments to ensure proper implementation of ongoing 10 point campaign on Good Governance across the district, Seeks proper record keeping of Grievances and their timely disposals_

Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today participated in weekly block diwas program at Doda and Thathri sub division and interacted with the locals and listened to their grievances.

 

During the program the DC felicitated the recently appointed Class IV candidates under Yogyata Se Rozgar Mahotsav and congratulated them for coming out from the most transparent and impartial fastrack recruitment process initiated by the UT Govt of J&K.

 

While listening to the grievances of the locals raised during the program the DC made various on spot directions to the concerned authorities and direct them to ensure compliance without any fail.

 

With regard to the construction of bus stand Thathri the DC took strong concern of the unnecessary delay and strictly directed the concerned to complete the tendering process within days for timely completion and utilisation of the funds, besides asked the Tehsildar Thathri to submit the factual report with regard to the alignment issue raised by the locals for Thathri Cheera and Kathawa road.

 

With regard to the single lineman issue in PDD for both the rural and urban area, the DC directed the AEE concerned to post another lineman for the Thathri so that people may not suffer, besides asked the Tehsildar and SDM to submit the report with regard to the toilet complex causing nuisance so that proper action shall be initiated in this regard under rules.

 

For proper service delivery and grievance redressal the DC asked the Tehsildars to maintain a register in which department wise grievances shall be recorded,  for time bound redressal, besides asked them to track the same on daily basis.

 

For wide publicity of schemes taken under JJM for sub division Thathri, the DC directed the concerned to install a big hoarding at Tehsil office or any other public location so that people shall be made aware about the schemes framed for their area under JJM, besides directed the Tehsildars to install a desk in their office premises exclusively for the people who shall be shown the land records under Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani.

 

Besides asked them to submit the proposal with regard to the popular demand of Mini secretariat for Thathri in consultation with the PWD department so that same shall be sent to the concerned authorities for further course of action, and also asked the Tehsildar Thathri to enquire into the matter of the whereabout of AEE R&B Thathri who was not present in the program and to submit the factual report within two days.

 

Meanwhile at other different locations the Class IV candidates were also felicitated by SDMs, besides also listened to the grievances of the people.

 

It has been given out that during the entire day long program 

As many as 139 grievances/applications were received during the day long program, and all feasible issues were redressed by the officers/officials of respective departments on the spot, besides several services which includes 40 category certificates, 64 Domicile certificates, besides 18 different revenue papers were provided to the people on spot.

 

In addition to this 10 ration cards were seeded and around 8 families were covered under Ayushman Bharat scheme.
