*DDC Doda reviews physical and financial progress of works under District and UT Capex* _Directs all executing departments to expedite physical and financial progress, Asks executing departments to complete the tendering of pending works for timely allotment and completion_

Doda, December 21:

District Development Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma, today chaired the meeting of key officials of various line departments here in the conference hall of DC office to take the stock of   progress made in the UT and District Capex including PRI grants, Area Development Program under implementation by various executing departments.

 

During the meeting the DDC enquired about the satus of tendering, allotment, actual execution of works on ground, besides also reviewed the expenditure done against the works which are completed.

 

While reviewing the expenditure status of works completed by RDD under PRI grants the DDC asked all the BDOs to ensure that the billing of all the physically completed works shall be completed within next few days, besides asked to financially complete the works whose bills are produced by the concerned JE.

 

The DDC also directed the BDOs to avoid unnecessary delays in making payments besides to take strict actiin in writing against their field functionaries if causing unnecessary delays.

 

With regard to expenditure in ICDS the DDC directed the DPO ICDS to get the UC from the field functionaries within next seven days, besides asked Ex En PWD Gandoh and Bhaderwah to complete the tendering of the pending works within days, which was also assured by the  authorities to the chair.

 

While responding to the issue of expenditure in MC Doda the DDC asked the Ex En to submit the list of works which have been completed  alongwith the date of completion so that necessary instructions shall be passed on to the concerned quarters for expediting payments against the completed works.

 

The DDC further directed the concerned BDOs to ensure that the payments are being done against all the completed B2V works wherever they are completed as the funds are already at the disposal of the respective panchayats, besides asked them to conduct the Gram sabhas for the plan formulation under PRI grants for the next year so that in advance estimation shall be ensured to avoid hassle during the execution of the plan.

 

The DDC informed alll the officers to keep their staff in readiness mode and to take the works of District Capex including PRI grants on priority so that at the end of the current financial year all the works are physically and financially completed.

 

The meeting was attended by CPO Doda, SE PWD, SE JPDCL, ACD Doda, AC Panchayats, besides Ex Ens and BDOs and other officers of various line departments were also present.
