*GDC Kastigarh holds Mega Event on the launch of renaming of the institution after the name of native Martyr Dy SP Aman Thakur*

DODA, DECEMBER 14:- Mega event was organized today at Govt. Degree College (GDC) Kastigarh regarding the change of nomenclature of college from GDC Kastigarh to Govt. Dy. SP Aman Thakur Memorial College Kastigarh.

 

In this event all the prominent citizens/ dignitaries of the area participated.

 

On the occasion parents and family members of Martyr Aman Thakur grace the occasion and other dignitaries who participated in the event were DDC Vice- Chairperson Doda, DDC member Kastigarh, Tehsildar Kastigarh, Sarpanches of Kastigarh area, Principal of the College, students and all faculty members of the college.

 

Principal of the college, Prof Surinder Singh Parihar in his welcome address highlighted the contribution of Martyr Dy SP Aman Thakur in Police Department who sacrificed his life for the safety and security of the nation. In his address Principal hats off to the parents of such brave soldier. 

 

Principal also presented bouquet to the parents of the Martyr Dy. SP Aman Thakur on this occasion. Other speakers who spoke on the occasion were father of Martyr Dy. SP Aman Thakur, DDC Vice-chairperson Doda Mrs. Sangeeta Bhagat, DDC member Kastigarh Santosha Devi, Sarpanch upper Mundhar Mohd. Shafiq, Sarpanch Dhandal Mr. Ghulam Hassan, Sarpanch Gagla Mr. Kuldeep Singh. Other prominent citizens spoke on the occasion were Rashpaul singh and Mr. Pyar chand bhagat. 

 

Prof. Ajay Kumar presented the vote of thanks to the audience. 

 

The Programme was anchored by Ms. Meenakshi Bhagat & Tousif Akram students of the College. The programme was concluded with the national anthem.
