Govt. PG College Bhaderwah Organizes Cyber Jaagrookta Rally At Bhaderwah

Bhadarwah, Dec.18:-

Under initiative of Govt. of India scheme “Indian Cyber Crime Co-ordination Centre (14C) Department of Computer Science”, PG College Bhaderwah in collaboration with its NCC and NSS units organized a Cyber Jaagrookta here on Saturday.

It has been by the officials,that the rally paraded different areas of Bhadarwah township covering New bus stand, link road and finally  culminated at historical Seri Bazaar.

While interacting with shopkeepers and other public about Cyber crime and its ill effects, release said that students also raised slogans related to Cyber Jaagrookta like,“Keep your password secret and strong”, “Don’t share OTP to strangers”, “Change your passwords regularly” etc.

Earlier, welcome address was presented by HOD Computer Sciences Prof.Arjun Kotwal on this occasion.

The rally was spearheaded by Prof. Tariq Bhat from the department of Computer Sciences.

The release further said that the programme ended with a formal vote of thanks by Prof. Vijay Kumar from Department of Computer Science.

Other staff members who participated in the rally included Prof. Prithvi Raj, Prof. Ankush Kumar, Prof. Mushtaq Ahmad, Prof. S K Katal, Prof. Rahul Uttam ,Prof. Sunil Singh, Prof. Ab Rouf Bhat, Prof. Shamsher Singh, Mr. Bushan Kumar, Mr. Ashfaq Ahmad and others.
