*ADC Doda discusses arrangement of Republic Day 2022* _Directs all to make fool proof arrangements well in advance for the grand success of the National event_

DODA, JANUARY 04: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Doda Dr. R.K Bharti today convened a meeting to discuss the arrangements of Republic Day- 2022, here at the conference hall of DC office Doda.

 

The meeting was attended by SSP Doda, CPO, PO ICDS, ACD and District officers of all Line Departments besides executive engineers and Officers of PWD, PDD and PHE, officers from Higher Secondary School,  and other senior officers of Army and paramilitary forces attended the meeting.

 

The meeting was informed that the main function will be held at Sport Stadium Doda. The function shall start with the Shehnai wadan programme at 7.30 AM in the morning by the District Information Centre Doda.

 

It was also given out that contingents of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, Forest Protection Force, NCC Senior and Junior Division and various Government and Private schools shall participate in the event.

 

During the meeting ADC Doda directed all the departments including school education department to submit the list of participants to the police department by 20th of January so that in advance their verification shall be done, besides asked the departments to submit the list of the name of the extraordinary Officials by 15th so that the names shall be put before the scrutiny Committee in time and the list of selected ones is  timely handing over to the sports department for arrangement of the trophies etc.

 

Besides the education department was also directed to submit the list of participating schools and other institutions to the ACD Doda by or before 15th so that accordingly refreshments shall be made available for all of them by the concerned.

 

Regarding illumination the ADC directed the EO MC Doda and Executive Engineer PDD to illuminate all the public offices as per the past practice, besides directed the Sports council to ensure in advance face lift of the venue.

 

The arrangements for Drinking water facility, power supply, Parking facility, first aid arrangements, Sanitation, Security, Public Address System, Fire tenders, preparation of tableaus, Seating arrangements besides arrangements of Memento  and refreshments were also discussed.

 

ADC Doda gave directions to the concerned officers to maintain cleanliness in and around the venue. He also directed for arrangements of Health facilities and traffic arrangements. 

 

It was also decided that final full dress rehearsal shall be held on 24th of January 2022, besides screening of cultural items shall be conducted on 16th January by the designated committee.
