GOOD GOVERNANCE WEEK SUCCESS STORY *Dali Udhyanpur established as Milk Village, 165 Dairy units sanctioned, can augment 300 in employment generation in the district*

Doda, December 25; Dali Udhyanpur Village has been established as Milk Village under Integrated Dairy Development Scheme (A Flagship program of UT Govt) to enhance local milk production and to generate self employment under Aatma Nirbhar Bharat. A concept under the guidance of Worthy Director Animal Husbandry Department Jammu, Dr. D Sagar Doifode to implement the IDDS on cluster bases and create a Milk Village under the scheme. The prompt action of Director to sanction 165 Dairy Units for Dali Udyanpur Milk Village in this week with an involvement of Rs. 387 lakhs subsidy has made it happen on ground.
 
           This was a result of constant efforts and interaction with the PRIs and Public by the Department, exclusively hectic efforts of Nodal Officer, Dr Shahid Latief and his team which managed such a big venture in weeks time. Efforts of Shabir Ahmed, BDC Chiarman Dalli Udyanpur are highly appreciated. Facing many hindrances the department motivated the rural population which was an uphill task. But due to efforts of department and team in cooperation with PRI’s the goal came true in this week when all formalities were collected and 165 cases were sponsored and submitted in a mission mode. Out of 165 Diary Units sanctioned 03 Cases are of 50 cows each.
            This program shall have a long lasting effect to boost Rural economy and self employment generation for more than 150 families and more than 300 workers will earn their livelihood from it. Many people are also coming forth to invest in milk processing and milk products technology.
