As per the practice in vogue, Block Diwas program was celebrated across the district at designated places today wherein general public raised several queries and officers responded/ resolved the grievances. Besides various services were availed by the public during the day long program.
Main event of grievances redressal camps was held at Community Centre/ BDO office complex Ghat, wherein District Development Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma presided over the proceedings.
Several issues were brought to the notice of District Development Commissioner Doda which include, Additional plan under MGNREGA, low quality Solar lights provided at village Jijote, Black top of road from Ghat Nalla to Arnora morh, augmentation of transformer in Sheikh Mohalla Ghat,Tile work in the streets of Ghat village, repairing of Shahi Bheli Koul (Canal), tap water restoration of village Shuryan & Birshala, shortage of drinking water in Shiva area and up-gradation of High School Bheli to Higher Secondary school. DDC listened to the issues and directed the concerned officers for resolution of genuine issues/ demands without further delay.
DDC directed for the constitution of
Committee for area specific integrated planning to develop employment opportunity by pushing up for Medicinal plants, agricultural/ horticultural products and dairy unit clusters. The committee shall comprise of officers from agriculture Department, Ayush Department, Irrigation department and Industries department.
During the day long proceedings of Block Diwas as many as 54 grievances/applications were received, out of which all feasible greivances were redressed by the officers/officials of respective departments on the spot, besides several services which includes 23 category certificates, 53 Domicile certificates, 04 different revenue papers and 02 birth certificates were provided to the people on spot during the day long program held across the district at already designated locations which includes Bhaderwah, Sub division Gandoh, Subdivision Assar, Subdivision Thathri and at BDO office Ghat, Doda.
Moreover five ration cards have been seeded, twent two beneficiaries were covered under Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY SEHAT scheme, besides one KCC card was issued to the beneficiary during the program and one student was covered under scholarship scheme.
