*Arrangements finalised for celebration of Republic Day 2022 in Doda.*

DODA, JANUARY 21: To review and finalise the arrangements for the celebration of Republic Day this year, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Doda Dr. R.K Bharti today convened a meeting here in mini meeting hall of DC office Doda.
The meeting was informed that the main function will be held at Sports Stadium Doda. In case of rain/ snow the celebrations shall be held at District Police Lines Doda. The function shall start with the Shehnai wadan programme at 7.30 AM in the morning by the District Information Centre Doda at the venue.
It was also given out that contingents of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, Forest Protection Force, NCC Senior and Junior Division and various Government and Private schools shall participate in the event.
During the meeting ADC Doda once again directed all the departments including school education department to submit the list of participants to the police department by tomorrow so that in advance their verification shall be done. ACD shall make refreshments available for the participating children at the venue.
Regarding illumination the ADC directed all heads of the offices in Doda to illuminate and give festive look to their office buildings. Besides EO MC Doda and Executive Engineer PDD were directed to illuminate DC major public offices and public properties as per the past practice. He further directed the Sports council to ensure in advance face lift of the venue.
The arrangements for Drinking water facility, power supply, Parking facility, first aid arrangements, Sanitation, Security, Public Address System, Fire tenders, preparation of tableaus, Seating arrangements besides arrangements of Memento and refreshments were also finalised.
ADC Doda gave directions to the concerned officers to maintain cleanliness in and around the venue. He also directed for arrangements of Health facilities and traffic arrangements.
It was also given out that final full dress rehearsal shall be held on 24th of January 2022.
