*DDC Doda participates in Block Diwas program at Bhaderwah and redress various grievances of locals on spot* Asks to hold block diwas at Block level also for convenience of locals living in far-off areas . Doda, February 09:

District Development Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today participated in the Block Diwas program at BDO Office Bhaderwah, wherein the DDC met scores of deputations of locals and PRIs and listened to their grievances.

 

During the program various issues of public importance  were raised by the PRI members and locals before the DDC which includes MGNREGA material payment, replacement of wooden rotten poles, Verification of PMAY Urban houses,14 FC works, Payment of pending installments of PMAY houses, Verification of defunct Sartingal Power house, Verification of Thanala PHE scheme, pending completion of Panchayat Ghars, functioning of the completed Panchayat Ghars, inclusion of genuine leftout beneficiaries under Urban Awaas plus, besides other important public issues were raised during the program for which the DDC paid patient hearing and passed various on spot directions for time bound redressal.

 

Regarding Panchayat Ghars issue the DDC directed the BDO to take up the matter with DPO and to ensure that the matter is resolved on priority basis, besides directed the EO MC Bhaderwah to co-ordinate with the concerned and to ensure inclusion of all the left out beneficiaries under Awass plus.

 

With regard to the convenience of the people coming from the far-off places to participate in the block diwas the DDC directed the ADC to ensure that from the next week onwards the block Diwas shall be organised at block level, besides directed the ADC to monitor the proceedings without any fail.

 

In addition to this the DDC directed the ADC to ensure that all the record of grievances shall be maintained in a register, he further directed the officials to ensure that each grievance is followed up on regular basis till its disposal, besides directs ADC to establish a 24*7 control room at Bhaderwah also on the line of DC office.

 

With regard to Sartingal Power house and Thanala PHE scheme the DDC directed the ADC to enquire the matter and to submit the factual report to his office within ten days, besides directed the PWD to complete the minor work of Seri bazar park within days.

 

With regard to replacement of rotten poles the DDC directed the concerned to bring the issue in writing so that the matter is taken up with the higher authorities. 

 

DC Doda accompanied by SSP Doda and other senior officers walked around the whole town and assessed the traffic and development related issues . Directions were issued for strict enforcement of traffic management , construction of circular roads for ease of traffic scenario, identification and notification of parking places , regulation of areas notified as ‘ no traffic’ zones and ‘ one way traffic zones ‘ . 

 

The Block diwas was also held across the district at designated places. During the day long proceedings of Block Diwas as many as 72 grievances/applications were received, out of which 65 feasible greivances were redressed by the officers/officials of respective departments on the spot, besides several services which includes 21 category certificates, 83 Domicile certificates, and 05 birth/ death certificates were provided to the people on spot during the day long program held across the district at already designated locations which includes Bhaderwah, Sub division Gandoh, Subdivision Assar, Subdivision Thathri and at all BDO offices.
