*DDC Doda Reviews Implementation of Jal Shakti Projects* _Sets timeline for completion of all individual projects._

Doda February 09:  District Development Commissioner Doda, Vikas Sharma convened a meeting to review the progress of implementation of various projects under Regular, NABARD, JJM, PRI grants and B2V3 schemes of Jal Shakti (PHE) department here in Conference Hall of DC office.
 
DDC discussed in detail projectwise physical and financial status and bottlenecks in the  implementation of various projects and schemes. The meeting also took stock of  works on watersupply schemes of GMC Doda and issues therein.
 
The District Development Commissioner was informed that 474 works are approved for the district under Regular scheme, NABARD, PRI grants and B2V3, where as 61 works are physically complete and 239 number of works are nearing completion.
 It was also  informed that 6 number of works are held up because of some bottlenecks for which DDC directed the Ex En concerned to put personal efforts to settle down the issues with an intimation to the DDC office.
 
SE was directed to conduct enquiry, regarding delayed accord of Technical Sanction  of Korara pipeline scheme, and fix responsibility of the delay, besides, he was asked to  submit the details about the works in Gandoh division which have not yet been allottted despite opening of tenders.
 
Meanwhile, DDC also reviewed the progress achieved under in the water supply scheme of GMC Doda and directed the Ex En Jal Shakti Division Doda and Tehsildar Doda to visit the spot tomorrow and settle the issue with locals, besides asked the concerned to take up the matter with PWD authorities for issuing necessary NOC for laying the pipeline alongsides of a patch of Bharat road.
 
The DDC stressed that coordinated efforts must be put in place to achieve the target. He directed the concerned officers to blacklist the defaulter contractors. He further directed that all the retendered works must be alloted immediately when opened for early completion of the projects. DDC while reviewing performance of JEs, directed them to put in extraordinary effort so that all the works approved are completed both physically and financially in the current financial year.
 
Among others, the meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, SE Hydraulic Circle Doda, Executive Engineers, AEEs, JEs and other officials of Jal Shakti and Planning department of DC office.
