*MVD Doda organises awareness camp under Road safety Week at Bhaderwah*

Doda, January 12; ARTO, Doda organized a Road Safety Awareness Program at Municipal Community Hall, Bhaderwah on Day-2 of Road Safety Week 2023, “Swachhata Pakhwada” from 11th to 17th January, 2023. Sh. Dil Mir Choudary ADC Bhaderwah, Sh. Kameshwar Puri ASP Bhaderwah also participated in the Program besides Sh. Kuldeep Singh ARTO Doda & Sh. Jasbir Singh MVI.

 ADC Bhaderwah & ASP Bhaderwah interacted with the drivers/cleaners/public and told them that while driving you should remain vigilant as the safety of all the passengers/road users is the prime responsibility of a driver and appealed to adhere to all the traffic rules and regulations to ensure safe, smooth & hassle free traffic movement. They appealed to the public to become a good road user.

 ARTO Doda while interacting with the gathering told that we should avoid overspeeding/overloading /use of Intoxicants/use of mobile phone, always wear seat belt /helmet while driving to avoid any untoward incident. He further told that to avoid road accidents it is imperative to do the proper servicing of the vehicles on time and one should check the vehicle before plying. Motor Vehicle Inspector also addressed the gathering.

It is pertinent to mention that on Day-1 of Road Safety Week 2023 a Road Safety Awareness Program at 9th Km. Batote near Assar was organized by ARTO , Doda and a Joint Traffic Naka comprising of MVD, District Police & Traffic Police was also established which will remain functional during the whole Road Safety Week 2023.
