Doda, February 17; Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan today chaired a meeting of Officers of line departments to review the progress of Aadhaar enrollment and ADHAAR updation in the district.

 

He directed the ICDS Department and other concerned agencies to ensure 100% ADHAAR enrollment from existing 70% of 0 to 6 year children by 31st of March. 

On the updation of ADHAAR, DC has instructed all the DDOs to get the ADHAAR of all their employees updated by 28th of February. He has also ordered for establishment of ADHAAR updation centres at the DC office, in all tehsils, at Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Doda’s office and in their food stores, at Bank branches, at CSCs and other public places. He has also asked for holding special ADHAAR updation camps in the schools. DC has issued instructions for thorough publicity of objectives and the importance of ADHAAR updation so that the general public can be motivated for the same.

 

The meeting was attended by ADDC Doda Pran Singh, CPO Doda Suresh Kumar, Dy Director Employment Doda Idrees Lone, Representative of PO ICDS Doda (CDPO Doda), LDM Parveen Kumar, Zonal Manager JK Bank, representative of Post Office Doda, District Manager CSC, representative of Comtech Group and other concerned officials.
