*Doda Admin finalized arrangements for Askini Bhadarkashi Utsava*

Bhaderwah, February 21: To review and finalize the arrangements of forthcoming Askini Bhadarkashi Utsav,

Deputy Commissioner Doda Vishesh Paul Mahajan today convened a meeting of officers of key departments here at Revenue Complex Bhaderwah. He, along with SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom, C. O 4RR, ADC Bhaderwah Chowdhary Dil Mir, Senior Officers from GREF, Tehsildar Bhaderwah, DYSSO Doda, XEN BDA, SDPO Bhadarwah, representatives of various Associations and official representatives of other departments were present in the meeting. 

 

He was informed by the ADC Bhaderwah of the arrangements made by the concerned line departments at Jai Valley in particular and in and around Bhaderwah in general.

 

All the arrangements regarding activities of Musical carnival, Sports activities, ATV bike ride, food stalls, local fashion show, Snow Skiing, Rafting, Local Wresting, and other fun activities for the amusement of the tourists have been discussed in detail. 

 

During the meeting threadbare discussion was held with regard to the progress made in the arrangements and completion of activities, decoration of venue, safety and security measures, traffic managemen, selection of Artists, besides availability of other essential services on the scheduled days and dates.

 

He directed the police administration and forest department to open their respective check posts at Jai in order to check the movement of vehicles etc and to put a check on plastic dumping in the area during the Utsav. He directed the key departments to work in a cooperated manner to make the event a grand success. He was satisfied with the collective efforts being put in by all the concerned officers.

 

After the meeting was over, DC paid a visit to the Govt Library at Old Hospital and conducted an inspection. He also inaugurated the Authorized Service Centre ” Regency Honda Tridev Automobiles at Eid Gah road.
