*Doda Admin is hosting grand Askini Bhaderkashi Utsav on 24th & 25th of Feb; DC reviews preparedness, visits spots.*

Bhaderwah, February 15:

Deputy Commissioner Doda Vishesh Paul Mahajan reviewed and finalised the arrangements for the grand celebration of the forthcoming Askini Bhaderkashi Utsav in a meeting with key departments here at Revenue Complex Bhaderwah. He along with SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom, ADC Doda Dr R K Bharti, ADC Bhaderwah Chowdhary Dil Mir, Senior Officers from Indian Army, GREF, civil and police departments visited Jai Valley to inspect the spots and gave directions to the management Committee regarding conduct of the event.

 

It was informed that the mega event is being organised under Azadi Ka Amrut Mahatasav and is scheduled to be held on 24th & 25th of February at various locations in and around Bhaderwah with main activities at Jai Valley Bhaderwah.

 

The Utsav shall be of two days event in which Musical carnival, Sports activities, ATV bike ride, food stalls, local fashion show, Snow Skiing, Rafting, Local Wresting and other fun activities shall be available for the tourists. Huge rush of tourists from across the UT and other parts of the country is expected for which all the arrangements shall be made in place and in advance.

 

It was also informed Voice of of Askini Bhaderkashi Contest shall be held during the Utsav to showcase the local talent and select the best artists from Chinab region. 

 

During the meeting threadbare discussion was held with regard to the finalisation of activities, decoration of venue, safety and security measures, traffic managemen, selection of Artists, besides availability of other essential services on the scheduled days and dates.
