_Darakhshan Andrabi Lays foundation of Sarai; Inspects Waqf property at Doda._

DODA, MARCH 21:- Hon’ble Chairperson Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board, Syed Darakhshan Andrabi visited Doda today along with CEO J&K Waqf Board Syed Majid Jahangir, Administrator Waqf unit Doda/ Kishtwar Zakir Hussain Wani and Administrator Waqf unit Jammu. She laid foundation stone of Sarai/Musafir Khana Building at Akramabad Doda. 

 

She also inspected the Waqf property at Doda and met with scores of public representatives and local people. The locals raised various issues, which include early construction of Sarai and Parks in the town, and developing idle land of Waqf unit Doda as Car Parking space. The Chairperson assured that all genuine demands shall be fulfilled by the Waqf Board.

 

Speaking on the occasion Dr Darakhshan said that Waqf authorities are now continuously working at ground level throughout J&K and for the first time in it’s history, Waqf Board takes decisions on ground zero which has helped us in understanding the basic issues at each location.
