_Farmers associated with lavender cultivation and its processing calls upon DC Doda._ *DC urges to double the produce and improve the quality of the products*

Doda, March 03; Dozens of farmers associated with lavender cultivation and its processing met DC Doda Vishesh Paul Mahajan, in presence of Chief Agriculture Officer Doda Anil Gupta, today in his office chamber at DC Office complex Doda. The farmers apprised the DC about their current production of lavender oil. The farmers have apprised that the production is expected to increase this season, and the profitable market places must be explored in advance. 

 

DC has urged the farmers to increase 100% production of lavender. Agriculture and HP&M departments have been entrusted with the task of exploring the market for the raw as well as processed lavender and its products. 

 

DC has asked for maintaining the quality of the products to compete at the national and international level. DC has further directed to take the necessary training and expertise from IIIM Bhaderwah, KVK Bhaderwah, for better quality along with better packaging of the products.
