_IGR reviews the functioning of Sub-Registrar’s office at Assar._

Doda, March 17: 

Inspector General of Registration (IGR), J&K, Sheikh Arshad Ayub undertook a comprehensive review of the working of Sub Registrar’s office at Assar Sub Division of District Doda.

 

SDM Assar, who is also holding Charge of Sub Registrar Assar Sh Lekh Raj briefed him of the functioning of Sub Registrar’s office. IGR expressed his satisfaction with the working and services offered by the Sub Registrar office Assar.Funds amounting Rs 25000 were immediately released for purchase of furniture. 

 

At Doda, Comprehensive discussions were held with all the SRs on all aspects covering document registration and implementation of new initiatives. The issues discussed, inter-alia, included booking of slots, uploading of documents, checking of documents, stamp duty and registration fee, acceptance of documents and registration of various instruments. .

IGR, J&K exhorted the SR to install CCTV cameras in the office for better security and transparenc.
