CMO Doda paid surprise visit of CHC Thathri, SDH Gandoh & PHC Changa

Doda, March 05; To assess the quality of health services, punctuality of staff and patient care, the Chief Medical Officer Doda Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar on yesterday, paid a surprise visit to many health facilities viz CHC Thathri, SDH Gandoh and PHC Changa in the District. 

 

During his visit, the CMO inspected various sections of the hospital and took stock of the medical facilities being provided to the patients here during his day-long visits. 

 

During his inspection, he visited different sections and wards including OPD, Registration counter, Emergency room, X Ray section besides other impt. sections of the hospital. 

 

The CMO Doda asked the concerned BMOs to call for explanation from the staff who were found absent during the duty hours besides directed to deduct their one day salary for being remaining absent. He also directed the hospital administration to take necessary measures for improving the sanitation and patient care services at the hospital.

 

The CMO enjoined upon the medical/ paramedical staff to serve the patients with utmost dedication and sincerity.

 

Speaking on the occasion, CMO urged upon health functionaries to ensure better healthcare facilities to the patients and come up to the expectations of the patients and enjoined upon the hospital administration to focus on quality assurance, accessible affordable health care so that satisfaction level among the users of Govt health facilities is enhanced and people repose faith in public health. He assured all possible support related to better health care services being provided at the hospital.
