*DC Doda reviews physical and financial progress of works under District Plan.* _Issues clearcut instructions to all officers to either give results or to face the action._

Doda, March 12; Deputy commissioner Doda Shri Vishesh Mahajan reviewed the sectors wise scheme wise status of works under District Plan and emphasized the need to expedite the completion of works before 20th of March. The AEs/JE of the concerned works and departments shall remain present on the site and show the actual progress of works virtually to the DC on the said 20th of March 2023.

He expressed concern over the slow progress of various projects under implementation of Jal Shakti, PWD and RDD, and directed the SEs and ACD to hold daily review and apprise the DC’s office on daily basis on the status of completion of ongoing works and expenditure incurred. 

 

The meeting started with the review of Jal Shakti department and it was apprised that 23 numbers of works out of 158 works are not taken up during the current year due to various reasons, on which DC directed SE JSD to surrender the alloted amount against these works immediately and fix the responsibility for not resolving the issues timely.

 

While reviewing the progress of works under PWD, DC reviewed AE/ JE wise progress visited various work sites virtually and issued on the spot directions to complete the works before 20th of March 2023, besides 100 percent expenditure.

 

In the RDD sector, various categories of works were visited virtually. Underlining the low expenditure by some BDOs, the DC issued clearcut directions yo the concerned to achieve 100% targets, both physically and financially before 20th of March 2923.

 

 DC has issued clearcut directions to all low performing officers of executing departments, either to perform or face the action.
