*Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan* _Skits, & Nukad Nataks held across the Doda town_

Doda, March 15: As a part ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’ and under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, various activities including Skit, and Nukat Natak were held today at old Bus Stand Doda and artists roam around the markets and mohallas in the Doda Town to create awareness on the drugs menace. A colourful skit depicting Yamraj dragging a drug addict, prepared by Social Welfare department and Academy of Art Culture and Languages Sub office Doda, roaming around the markets and Mohallas catched the sight of audience. 

 

DC Doda Vishesh Mahajan along with ADDC Doda Pran Singh, ADC Doda Dr R K Bharti, ACR Doda Sanjeev Kumar, CPO Doda Suresh Kumar, DIO DIPR Doda Mohd Ashraf Wani, DSWO Doda Tariq Qazi, DYSSO Doda Jaffar Sheikh and Cultural Officer Salauddin accompanied the artists upto old Bus Stand Doda where a Nukad Natak was presented by girls of Nari Neketan Doda, under the supervision of Sanya Khan, Gender Specialist, Mission Shakhti Doda.

 

 The programme aimed to motivate drug addicts to denounce the addiction and to disseminate awareness among the common masses about the adverse effects of drugs.

The skit was run-through market and streets to spread information about the deadly effect of drugs on person and on society and the importance of a healthy life.
