_ARTO Doda suspends 8 RCs, 04 liscences; Issues Showcause notice to 11 vehicle owners_

Doda, April 03: Going tough against the vehicles used in unfair/ unlawful trades, ARTO Doda Er Kuldeep Singh under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Doda Vishesh Mahajan has suspended 08 Registration Certificates and 04 Driving liscences in the district. He has also issued show cause notices to 10 vehicle owners, giving them an opportunity to present their fact before the authorities before taking disciplinary action against them under MV Act. 

 

It has been reported that the MVD Doda has already suspended 51 drving liscences of the drivers for violating traffic rules and some of them found involved in illicit trade of bovine smugling, banned drugs, and other unlawful activities. It has been reported that show cause notices have been also issued to those vehicle owners who are using private ECO Vans and other vehicles for carrying passengers without proper permision, and insurance thus playing with the lives of innicent people. 

 

Authorities have advised the drivers to obey traffic rules and not to indulge in any of the illegal activity in their own intreest.
