_DC Doda discusses Skill development plan at DSC meeting_ *Advocates for imparting Agro based skill to cater the skill need of rural youth.*

DODA, March 31: District Development Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Mahajan, who is also Chairman of the District Skill Committee (DSC), today chaired a meeting of the committee members to discuss the roll out of the revised Skill Development Plan.
Manujinder Singh, who is Mahatma Gandhi National Fellow (MGNF) for District Doda, presented a detailed report on objectives and plan of action for Skill up-gradation and handholding of skilled youth. He also informed that the Domestic Fata Entry Operator course has recently started at ITI Doda under PMKVY.
Chairman emphasised devising agro based courses for the desirous youth of the district. He said that agro based skills shall give necessary skills to our female aspirants, which in turn augment the rural economy and give them better opertunities to add on their earnings.
DSC decided that Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer and other stakeholders shall identify and plan out the training programmes in agro based skills. Deputy Director Employment Doda shall be over all incharge of the skill development plan in the district. RSETI shall also provide training in the fields having market demand, both incampus and online to give desired skills to the maximum number of people.
The meeting was attended by CEO BDA Doda, Dy Director Employment Doda, CAO Doda, CHO Doda, DSWO Doda, DIO Doda, CEO Doda, LDM Doda, Principal Polytechnic Doda, Superintendent ITI Doda, LDM, Director RSETI and other concernd.
