*Assar Zone in Doda Takes Pledge Against Substance Abuse in Formal Rally*

 

Doda, January 16: In a significant move towards building a drug-free community, Assar Zone in Doda witnessed a formal Nasha Mukt Bharat pledge and rally on January 16, 2024. The event, hosted at HSS Assar and supervised by DDO Assar, Sh. Sanjeev K Badyal, who also serves as the Principal of HSS Chill, drew participation from approximately 40 students and a majority of the staff from Cluster Baggar.

 

The rally commenced at HSS Assar, where students carried banners, placards, and charts adorned with Nasha Mukt slogans and quotes. Under the supervision of Sh. Sanjeev K Badyal, overseeing the responsibilities of DDO Assar, the procession moved through the village, market area, and streets of Village Assar. The students chanted slogans, creating a connection with the local community.

 

The active involvement of both students and staff was evident, all dedicated to spreading awareness about the adverse effects of substance abuse. The initiative aimed not only to educate but also to emotionally engage the general public, fostering a collective commitment to a drug-free society. The rally served as a powerful reminder of the community’s determination to combat the menace of drug addiction and build a healthier future for Assar Zone in Doda.
