Full Dress Rehearsal Marks 75th Republic Day in Doda

 

 

DODA JANUARY 24 :

In anticipation of the 75th Republic Day, a full dress rehearsal unfolded at Sport Stadium Doda, where Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda, Dr. Ravi Kumar Bharti, played a pivotal role in the ceremonial proceedings. Hoisting the National Flag, he took the salute during an impressive march past featuring 30 contingents, including representatives from J&K police, IR 5th Bn, NCC SD, NSS GDC, NCC JD, FPF, SSB, and school children.

 

The full dress rehearsal showcased not only the disciplined march past but also involved the cultural richness of the region. Ten cultural troupes from various educational institutions added vibrancy to the event, underscoring the community’s diverse talents and contributions.

 

Addressing the gathering, ADC Doda, Dr. Ravi Kumar Bharti, urged citizens to actively participate in the Republic Day celebrations on January 26, 2024, fostering a sense of enthusiasm and national pride. During his speech, he highlighted several government-sponsored schemes, encouraging the public to avail themselves of the benefits. ADC Doda expressed satisfaction with the rapid development in the district across various sectors, including tourism, where an increase in tourist footfall was noted.

 

The full dress rehearsal attracted the presence of key officials, including Deputy Commissioner Doda Harvinder Singh, SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom, ADDC Doda Pran Singh, ACR Doda Sanjeev Sharma, ASP, Dy SP Traffic, and other officers, along with heads of various departments. Their collective presence emphasized the significance of the Republic Day celebration and showcased the commitment to its success in Doda district.
