Promoting Road Safety: Awareness Event at Paryote Road, Doda

In support of the National Road Safety Month, a dedicated event was conducted at Paryote Road in Doda on January 23. The initiative, orchestrated under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner DODA, Harvinder Singh, and supervised by ARTO Doda, Rajesh Gupta, aimed to heighten awareness regarding road safety practices and regulations to mitigate the occurrence of accidents.

ARTO Doda, Rajesh Gupta, underscored the importance of road safety measures during the event, emphasizing the need for drivers to adhere to traffic rules. The event served as a platform to educate the community about safe driving practices, with the Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) Doda distributing informative pamphlets and facilitating interactive sessions.

 

As part of the safety measures, the MVD Doda conducted an inspection of reflective tapes on vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards. This proactive step was taken to improve vehicle visibility, particularly during nighttime, thus minimizing the risk of accidents. The focus on reflective tapes aligns with the broader goal of enhancing road safety.

 

The initiative garnered positive feedback from attendees who applauded the concerted efforts to promote road safety in the region.
