Road Safety Awareness Event Organized in Pul Doda**
DODA JANUARY 27 :
Under the guidance of ARTO Doda, Rajesh Gupta, and directed by Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, the Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) in Doda orchestrated a significant road safety awareness event at Pul Doda on January 27. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about road safety among the community.
The event is part of the ongoing celebration of National Road Safety Month, emphasizing the importance of safe practices on the roads. On the 13th day of the National Road Safety Month, MVD Doda collaborated with transporters and the NGO Tejas to conduct an awareness program at Pul Doda. Additionally, pamphlets on road safety were distributed to passengers, drivers, and the general public to enhance awareness among road users, pedestrians, and commuters.
Considering the unique challenges of hill roads, specific safety measures were highlighted during the event. Emphasizing the importance of maintaining safe speeds, using headlights during foggy conditions, and adhering to designated lanes were among the key points discussed to ensure safer travel on hill roads.
The entire program was conducted under the supervision of ARTO Doda, ensuring the effective implementation of road safety initiatives and strategies. By fostering collaboration between government agencies, NGOs, and the community, such events play a crucial role in promoting road safety and reducing accidents on ou
r roads.
