**Blood Donation Camp Organized in Doda by MVD Doda in Coordination with Health Department**

In Doda, the Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) recently organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with the Health Department at GMC Doda, as directed by Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh and supervised by ARTO Doda, Rajesh Gupta. This initiative was part of the ongoing celebration of National Road Safety Month.The event was graced by the presence of chief guest Retd Wg Cdr Tirath Singh Mahotra

 

During the event, members of the drivers’ community and MVD officials came forward to donate blood, highlighting their commitment to the humanitarian cause. The primary aim of the blood donation camp was to ensure that sufficient blood was readily available for accident victims, allowing for immediate lifesaving interventions during emergencies.

 

Speaking at the event, ARTO Doda Rajesh Gupta emphasized the importance of road safety measures and the MVD’s efforts to raise awareness throughout the district. He stressed the need for adherence to safety regulations while driving, underscoring the critical role each individual plays in preventing accidents and ensuring road safety.

 

ARTO Doda Rajesh Gupta extended gratitude to the Chief Guest, Retd Wg Cdr Tirath Singh Mahotra, for gracing the occasion with his presence. He also thanked the Health Department for organizing the blood donation camp, ensuring a ready supply of blood at the Doda blood bank for prompt response to accidents.
