DC Doda convene meeting regarding Opening of Aadhaar/CSC centres

 

Doda February 27 : DC Doda Sh. Harvinder Singh IAS, convened a meeting to discuss the opening of Aadhaar and Common Service Centre (CSC) centres in the district at DC Office Meeting hall complex. The meeting was attended by various officials and stakeholders to address the need for these essential services in the region.

 

During the meeting, the DC emphasized the importance of having Aadhaar and CSC centres in Doda to provide convenient access to government services for the residents. He highlighted the role of these centres in promoting digital literacy and ensuring efficient delivery of public services. 

During the meeting, it was informed that of 514 centres, 398 are functional have active digital portal and nearly 30 services are integrated. DC directed the BDOs, Principles of GDCs of district to identify the locations for Aadhaar/CSC centres and facilitates the CSC team. 

 

DC Doda also directed he officials discussed the necessary infrastructure and resources required to establish these centres in different parts of the district. They also deliberated on the operational guidelines and protocols to ensure smooth functioning and accessibility of these services to the public.

 

The DC assured that necessary steps would be taken to expedite the process of opening Aadhaar and CSC centres in the district to benefit the local community. 

 

The meeting was attended by CPO Doda, CEO Doda, BDOs, CSC Stakeholders and virtually attended by Principles of GDCs of district.
