**Principal Secretary Suresh Kumar Gupta Visits Pandavas Site and EK Mukhi Shivji Heritage Temple**

Principal Secretary of Culture, Suresh Kumar Gupta, led a visit to the ancient Pandavas site at Shiva Dal and the EK Mukhi Shiv Mandir yesterday , accompanied by Sh. Seva Ram Parihar, President of the EK Mukhi Shiv Mandir Samiti Mohalla, and other samiti members. The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the infrastructure facilities at both sites, especially in preparation for the upcoming MahaShivRatri festival, which attracts a large number of people from various parts of the country.

 

During the visit, Principal Secretary Gupta displayed a keen interest in learning more about these ancient sites and stressed the significance of preserving and maintaining our cultural heritage sites effectively.

 

Sh. Seva Ram Parihar, President of the EK Mukhi Shiv Mandir Samiti, briefed Principal Secretary Gupta about various promotional activities conducted regularly, including the organization of a 2-Day langar sewa during the Mata Machail Yatra at the Pandavas site Shiva Dal last year.

 

Principal Secretary Gupta expressed assurance that both these culturally significant heritage sites have the potential to attract visitors not only from Jammu and Kashmir but also from across India and the world. He pledged to take all necessary steps to enhance the infrastructure at these pilgrimage sites, which could contribute to boosting the economy of the entire region.
