DDC DODA HOLD PUBLIC DARBAR AT GANDOH

To hear and redress public grievances in far flung areas, District Administration Doda held a grievance redressal camp at changa community hall, sub-division Gandoh today.
District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr. Sagar D. Doifode IAS held the public darbar which saw participation of the people in large number.
Sub divisional Magistrate Gandoh, Tehsildar Gandoh, ACD doda,DPO Doda,PO IWMP, SDPO Gandoh,DSWO Doda,CEO Doda,Ex En JkPCC, Ex En REW, AD Handicrafts,Dy.Registrar Cooperative,AEE PWD,AEE PHE,Tehsildar, BDO’S, other zonal and sectoral officers of sub-division, PRI’s, besides local public attended the grievance redressal camp.
Various deputation’s raised problems pertaining to PMGSY,JKPCC and R&B Roads, Education department, inadequate staff in health and Education departments,demand for free ration,pending payments of mgnerega, compensation of lands,macdamisation of main and link roads,restoration of damaged roads,to provide relief under SDRF for the damages done by recent heavy rain and snowfall, check on absenteeism in schools, up gradation of some schools, improve facilities in PHC’s, lack of staff in primary, middle and high schools, completion of college building at earliest etc.
Meanwhile, the DDC had a patient hearing of the grievances and issued on spot directions to the concerned for their redressal.
While addressing the public on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner asked the officers of the district and Sub division administration to address the issues at grass root level and assert themselves in resolving local issues of public importance.
He particularly impressed upon them to show keen interest in ensuring quality of developmental works in rural pockets.
Moreover DDC Doda appealed to the elected members of PRI’s to provide cooperation and maintain coordination with the administration to enhace the process of development in the region and assured them that issues raised by them will be resolved with utmost importance.DDC also ensured the public that in next two days staff will be deputed in this area who will done proper estimation of the damages to orchards and other crops and directed a detail report to be submitted in the DC office.
Meanwhile DDC DODA also visited the spot of Bathri where recent landslide has damaged many shops and also visited the Sub district hospital Gandoh to enquire about the ongoing work and directed the concerned department to speed up the construction.
