DDC DODA convenes meeting with representatives of Political parties

DODA, MARCH 18: DDC DODA, Dr. Sagar D. Doifode  today convened a meeting with the representatives of various political parties and apprised them about the rules and guidelines.

 

While interacting with representatives of the political parties DDC Doda informed them about the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and urged them to follow the rules strictly.

 

He further revealed that the committee has been constituted to check the implementation of MCC.

 

The copies of guidelines regarding MCC were provided to representatives of political parties during the meet.

 

Moreover nodal officer (MCC) briefed the participants about Citizen Vigilance (C-Vigil) App, through which any voter can inform the concern authorities , if anyone finds any violation of MCC in the elections would enable people to lodge complaints regarding violation of MCC.

 

He further informed them about the “SUVIDHA” App and universal “1950” Toll free number.

 

Nodal Officer MCC seeks full coordination and cooperation from the representative of Political parties so that the upcoming elections are conducted successfully in free, fair and transparent manner.

 

DFO Doda Alok Maurya, Dy. DEO Pardeep Kumar,DTO Doda, DIO Doda besides representatives from political parties were present during the meeting.
