*Back to Village programme commences at Doda under Phase-IV, people show enthusiastic and overwhelming response* *DDC Doda asked the people of rural areas to provide full cooperation to the program besides directed the gazetted Officers to execute the program in proper manner*

With the magnificent launch of Back to Village programme at Doda on 20th of june, a beacon ray of hope and delight was seen on the faces of village people including men and women, elder people and youth who showed their great interest while participating in the programme in large number with full zest and zeal.
The said programme is being conducted under the overall supervision of District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda,Dr Sagar D Doifode.
It is pertinent to mention here that ‘Back to the Village’ programme is an ambitious and innovative initiative of the government to reach out to the people at the grassroots level which not ensure deliverance of public services at doorsteps but also provides a platform to villagers who can put their issues of concern before the visiting officer straight forwardely.
The officer concerned shall draw a holistic view point of general public and bring out the general highlights of the area based on consensus .
DDC informed that 178 Gazetted Officers have successfully completed their task of implementing ‘Back to Village’ programme successfully in earlier three phases and 4th phase which have started today under which 59 panchayts of district Doda will be covered.
The entire programme was scheduled to be conducted in four phases starting from 20th of June 2019 wherein 60 panchayts were covered in Phase-I on 20th and 21st June, 59 panchayts were covered in Phase II on 22nd and 23rd June,59 panchayats were covered under Phase III on 24th and 25th June and the rest are covered in the last pahse which started today 26th june to 27th june.
Further, DDC stated that the concerned visiting officer has to stay in the designated panchayat for two days including one night halt and will interact with every strata of society to understand their problems, issues, grievances and demands which shall be projected to higher authorities through a detailed prescribed performa by the concerned gazetted officer.
DDC expressed his hope that the feedback so obtained will help the government to assess the needs and prime requirements of people and accordingly the various central and state government schemes and programmes will be tailored in improving delivery of village-specific services and making the village life better in terms improved amenities and economic upliftment.
DDC also took visit in kulihand Panchayat of Block Dali Udhyanpur and met with the general public.
He asked the villagers to ensure their participation in the gram sabha to be convened under Back to Village programme and present the issues of their concern before the
visiting officer without any hitch and hesitation.
He later held interactions with the villagers and heared their grievances.He issued on spot directions to the official of revenue department to start their patwarkhaana in one of the room of the Panchyat ghar besides informed them about the upcoming initiative for panchayats like GPD plan,14th FC instalments and other activities which will change the overall development scenario of the area.
Meanwhile DDC took visit to Lower High School kulihand and UPS Granga to see the development done under the project Zimedari which is going on from last two months, and interacted with the students besides inaugrated newly constructed culvert leading towards the school.
The officers who accompanied DDC Doda includes Tehsildar Dali, BDO dali Udhyanpur Yasir wani,Adil Iqbal Lone Dy.Registrar Cooperatives besides other officials of the department.
