*District Administration Discussed The Measures with Police and Army for Installation of Consertina Wire on the Bridges at Pul Doda*

In order to restrict the frequent acts of committing suicides and to act as a deterent besides to ensure the safety of passers-by, nearby the bridges of Pul Doda, DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode today convened a meeting of Police and Army officials to discuss the modalities of installing the Consertina wire around both the bridges at the aforementioned venue.

 

During the meeting DDC informed the participants that both the bridges at Pul Doda have become the sucidal point which is becoming a big and grave concern for the administration and to curb this menace DDC Doda asked the police and army personnel’s to evolve a effective mechanism to deal with this issue on priority basis.

 

Officials of Army and Police ensured the DDC, that every possible help will be provided to administration in dealing with this issue.

 

Besides DDC, Brigadier Army, SSP Doda and ACR Doda were also present in the meeting.
