*DIC Doda and KVIB Doda sponsored 150 cases under PMEGP*

Second meeting of District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) headed by Deputy Commissioner Doda, Dr. Sagar D Doifoide today approved 150 entrepreneurship projects under Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme sponsored by District Industries Centre Doda and Khadi Village Industries Board, Doda.
The sanctioned projects included Steel fabrication, furniture, preparation of Readymade garments, welding, carpentry, electronics & repair, cutting and tailoring, etc.
The committee screened and scrutinised 185 cases out of which 150 were selected for credit linkage through financial institutions after thorough analysis of viability of proposed projects and the entrepreneurial skills of the applicants.
Giving details Sh. Kishori Lal Sharma, Addittonal Deputy Commissioner Doda and convenor of DLTFC Shahida Parveen, General Manager District Industries Centre Doda informed that various cases with maximum project cost upto Rs 10 Lakh and Rs 25 Lakh under services and manufacturing sector respectively have been recommended by the DLTFC. “These cases will be processed in a time bound manner for sanctioning of loan and each entrepreneur will be facilitated and guided in setting up of unit” they said.
Other Officers present during the DLTFC were Project Manager DIC Doda, IPO DIC Doda, District Manager SC-ST Corporation, District Officer KVIB, Cluster Head J&K Bank Doda besides representatives from Polytechnic College, ITI & RSETI Doda.
