DIC Doda organises awareness programme on “Protection of Children from Sexual Violence’ at GHS Pranoo (Doda)

Doda, October, 01: With an aim to sensitize children about their rights and protection under various enactments, District Information Centre Doda on 29-9-2019 organized an awareness programme on “J&K Protection of Children from Sexual Violence Act 2018” at Government High School (GHS), Pranoo (Doda). 

 

The event has been organised to implement the initiative taken up by Director Information and Public Relations, Dr. Sehrish Asgar, for generating awareness among the children regarding this Act.

 

Sarpanch of Pranoo Sh. Farooq Ahmed was the chief guest on the occasion, Principal, Masters and others were the resource  persons on the occasion.   

 

As many as, 12 students from the Govt. High School Pranoo participated in the programme.

 

            Misbaa Naik, a student of class 10th Govt. HS Pranoo, was adjudged as the best while Syed Rumna of class 10th Govt. HS and Karti Manhas class 10th of  Govt. HS clinched 2nd and 3rd position respectively in the programme. 

 

The students who shared their knowledge and views on the theme of the program   were also awarded with prizes for their participation.
