_BDC Elections-2019_ *17 Polling parties deployed for polling in Doda, DPEO Doda convened the meeting, ask them to conduct free,fair and error free elections*

DODA, October 23: In view of the smooth conduct of the Block Development Council elections,17 Polling Parties have been deployed across the 17 blocks of Doda district for polling which is going to held on 24th of October 2019 .

 

The Polling parties, along with polling material-ballot boxes left for the respective polling stations under the supervision of District Election Officer Doda Dr. Sagar D. Doifode.

 

Earlier in the morning, the Polling Parties reported at the respective dispatch centre(DC office) and other election material were made available to them.

 

Further DPEO Doda also convened the meeting with polling teams in presence of Observers,RO’s,ARO’s and ask them to conduct the free, transparent and error free elections, he also informed them that necessary arrangements are already put in place accordingly in all the respective polling stations,a team of special officer’s has been assigned the duty of overall supervision of the assigned polling stations in addition to the teams of Zonal, Sectoral magistrates and Observer’s.

 

Besides, DPEO ask them to conduct the elections according to the guidelines of the election act in the strict manner. ADDC Doda, DyDEO, ADC Bhaderwah, SDM’s and other concerned were present in the meeting.

 

Later, accompanied by Security personnel, the presiding Officers and other team members left for their respective polling station to undertake the voting process, which is starting on 24th of October from 9am till 1pm evening and counting process shall be undertaken at the same venue with the designated procedure.
