With an aim to assess the developmental process going on across the district and to listen the issues of people at their door step,govt of Jammu and Kashmir has started the second edition of the Back to Village program in the entire Union Territory.
In this regard in Doda district the program started today and 79 panchayats were visited by the designated officers of district and Secretariat level officers in the first phase.
It is given out by the field functionaries,that at 10 am in the morning all the visiting officer’s were received by the panchayat member’s and discussed their issues and participated in the gram sabha’s respectively.
It is pertinent to mention that visiting officer will stay for two day’s and one night in their assigned panchayat.
 
At the outset at various panchayats the visiting officers unveiled Public information board to the public. Then they readout and explained the charter of fundamental duties . The report card of b2v1 and critical gap analysis report was also discussed. Distributed information flyers on individual beneficiary based schemes, issues job card, inaugrated PMAY houses, Frontline workers of various departments introduced and explained their departmental schemes to general public and PRIs. Visited local institutions- schools, AWCs etc. In the evening visiting officers conducted informal interaction with PRIs, Frontline workers and prominent citizens to discuss and deliberate upon the core issues being faced by locals.
Among the secretariat level officers Sh. Noor Alam Dy. Secretary to Govt. ARI& Training deptt,Sh. Sunil Koul AD School Education Deptt,Sh. Mohd. Shakeel AD Planning Development & Monitoring Deptt also attended the program in their respective panchayats.
