*District administration Doda organised a cycle rally for promotion of “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” in the district* _DDC Doda led the cycle rally from Doda town to Ganpat bridge_

DODA, December 12:

With an aim to create awareness among the people to save and educate the girl child, besides to promote fit India and fit Doda movement across the district especially among the youth, SSP Doda Mumtaz Ahmed along with ACR Doda on Thursday flagged off the ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ cycle rally from the old bus stand Doda city via Tondwah to Ganpat bridge.

 

DDC Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode alongwith ADC Doda Kishori Lal Sharma led the rally, which concluded at Ganpat bridge, covering a distance of 6 km.

 

Addressing to the media group, DDC said in view to spread and promote the message of this national initiative in each and every corner of the district especially among the youth ,this cycle rally was organised by district administration today under which girls and boys of different age groups participated, besides to promote the”fit india and fit Doda”movement among the youth of Doda in addition to the aforementioned initiative,this bicycle rally was also organised .

 

He also said in the last week of November a film festival was also organised by the district administration for the promotion of the same initiative in the district and will continue to organise such programs for the youth of the district in future also.

 

The other’s who were present during the program are CPO Doda, Tehsildar Headquarters, Coordinator Childline,DSP traffic and Headquarters besides other officials of the district and police administration.
