_Additional reduction of more than 4 hrs in total curtailment schedule_ *District Doda to get additional 4-5 hr electricity supply from day after tomorrow*

DODA, December 17:

In a major success, despite of various challenges/hurdles being faced by the district administration, Department of PDD Division Doda and TLMD division Udhampur, the augmentation work going on at udhampur grid station will get completed tommorrow positively and district Doda is going to recieve additional electricity supply from day after tomorrow,reducing the present curtailment schedule in sufficient manner.

 

It is given out by the authorities of concerned department that, district Doda receives its power supply through 132 kV which comes through udhampur grid station.There is upgradation work going on and the existing transformer which was 120MVA has been upgraded upto 160MVA and the process will get completed tommorrow,the whole process is being conducted by TLMD division Udhampur.

 

The proposed shutdown on 132KV is on Thursday from 10am-3pm and after that, district Doda will receive sufficient amount of power supply i.e 4-5 hours additional power supply.

 

This was the long pending demand of the people of district Doda, and the people of the district are expressing their gratitude to the Leiutenant Governors administration, Worthy Chief Secretary of J&K and also applauds the persistence efforts of DDC Doda, Dr Sagar D. Doifode and electrical department.
