*IPPI: DC Doda reviews arrangements*

DODA, JANUARY 11: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today convened a meeting of District Task Force Committee to review the arrangements for the intensified pulse polio immunization (IPPI) programme to be conducted on January 19, in the District.
The meeting was informed that during the first phase 75518 children from 0 to 5 years of age will be administrated polio drops.
DC was apprised that a total of 531 Booths have been set up for the purpose in the entire district on 19 January and on 20th and 21st January a Door to Door campaign will be taken up.
It was also given out that total 107 supervisor’s are engaged for supervision of IPPI booths,46 areas are also identified which are hard to reach and adequate deployment of officials from different departments besides, the services of 2124 health workers along with supervisory teams, Anganwadi workers and Asha workers, education department,ANMT school students have also been sought for proper execution and monitoring of the immunization process.
CMO Doda also apprised the DC about the monitoring plan placed, under which the district has been divided in to four zones and four zonal monitors have been engaged for monitoring IPPI program pne for Thathri Gandoh zone, one each for Assar,Ghat and Bhaderwah zone’s.
While speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner said that it is the collective responsibility of all stake holders to achieve the fixed targets to keep the district polio free.
DDC laid emphasis upon putting in coordinated and full thrust on making the mass immunization programme a success campaign and directed the officers to take personal intervention where ever required,besides directed the CMO to made all Mobile immunisation vans duly functional across the district without any fail and to take review of Gandoh block progress under RNTCP,RBSK and Ayushman Bharat positively.
The meeting was attended by CMO Doda, CEO Doda,DSWO Doda,BMo’s and by the officials of the concerned committee.
