_31st National Road Safety Week:_ *MVD Doda launched Gift a Rose Campaign with cap at Gandoh and also medical and awareness camp at Thathri*

DODA, JANUARY 16:- As a part of the 31st National Road Safety Week concluded under the theme Sadak Suraksha Jeevan Raksha by Motor Vehicle Department Doda yesterday at Gandoh Tehsil of Doda district to make violators realize their fault.
Motor Vehicles Department, Doda, launched “Gift a Rose campaign” besides Cap for following traffic rules, felicitated the commuters who follow traffic rules with medals.
On the occasion Motor Vehicle Inspectors Jasbir Singh and Sanjeev Parihar along with staff of MVD Doda stressed upon them to use seat belts and crash helmets besides no use of mobile phones while driving.
The team conduct several roadside checks of vehicles, highlighted the dangers of poorly maintained vehicles besides imparted advice to drivers and general public to follow the traffic rules to avoid any kind of eventuality.
Later, at Thathri a free medical health camp which was organised by the MVD Doda in collaboration with health department for the drivers and conductors besides were also sensitised about the road safety week and exhorted upon them wear seat belts as a safety measure and to follow all traffic rules strictly to ensure that no more accidents shall happen across the district in future.
MVD Doda also conducted awareness camp for drivers and conductors at Tehsil Thathri to sensitize them about road safety measures, awareness of road safety, effective traffic management, maintenance of vehicle avoid overloading of passenger vehicles, obedience of traffic rules.
