_Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Week 2020_ *ADC Doda flagged off walkathon from Sports Stadium Doda*

DODA, January 21:As a part of the week long program and with an aim to create awareness among the masses to save and educate the girl child across the district, ADC Doda Kishori Lal Sharma on the second day of the week flagged off ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ walkathon from Sports Stadium Doda via DC office to Old bus stand Doda.

 

ADC Doda Kishori Lal Sharma led the rally, which concluded at Old bus stand Doda, during which participants displayed the banners besides chanted the slogans loudly in support of the program like

*Desh Ki Ek Hi Awaaz Hai Beti Bachao Beti Padhao*.

 

Addressing to the media persons, ADC Doda said in view to spread and promote the message of this national initiative in each and every corner of the district ,this walkathon was organised by district administration Doda in collaboration with ICDS department today, under which girls and boys of different age groups, Anganwadi workers, members of Childline Doda,CWC, ICPS participated.

 

Besides on the directions of the DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode same program is being conducted in blocks so that the message of this program will be spread at grassroot level.

 

It is pertinent to mention here that in the month of November 2019, district administration under the supervision of DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode, had organised a film festival,and a cycle rally for the promotion of the aforementioned initiative in the entire district.

 

The other’s who were present during the program are PO ICDS Shahida Parveen,PO IWMP Vinay Kumar,CEO Doda Tariq Hussain,DSWO/IC Director Childline Doda Zubair Ahmed,CDPO Bhagwah, Coordinator Childline along with members, besides other officials of the district administration.
