*DDC convened meeting with NHIDCL authorities* _Reviewed status of DPR for Sudhmahadev-Dranga tunnel,extended road section from Goha-khaleni including maintenance of existing National highway_

District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today convened meeting with NHIDCL authorities to review the status of DPR for Sudhmahadev-Dranga tunnel and ambitious road project of Goha khaleni.
 
The meeting was attended by GM NHIDCL alongwith officials of RODIC consultancy Pvt Ltd, ACR Doda Kaiser Ahmed Bhawani,besides by the Revenue officials of district administration.
 
During the meeting GM NHIDCL in detail apprised the DDC about the current status of the ambitious road project of khaleni Goha and Sudhmahadev-Dranga tunnel and said that work on both of these projects will start in the month of March 2020.
 
ACR Doda informed the DDC that a team of revenue officials has  been appointed to conduct joint inspection alongwith officials of NHIDCL,RODIC consultancy and other line departments so that revenue papers can be completed at earliest.
 
In this regard DDC directed the ACR Doda to start the process of joint inspection and fix the timeline of 7 days for the constituted team so that revenue papers can be completed and process of land acquisition can be initiated.
 
Meanwhile DDC was apprised by the NHIDCL authorities that from Khaleni to Thathri  widening will be started soon,after the process of land acquisition will be completed.
 
They have also shown the new proposed by pass alignments to the DDC at Thathri and Bhata area of Paryote.They said that Additional By pass road will be constructed in addition to the existing road at Thathri, besides for Premnagar DDC has asked the executing agencies to work on more alternatives so that less damage will be done to private property.
 
Moreover DDC has directed the ACR Doda to conduct public meet alongwith PRI’s at both the stations so that comprehensive way out can be formulated.
 
Regarding existing condition of NH,DDC has strictly directed the executing agencies to remove all the slips from the roads so that actual width shall be ensured within 15 days.
 
He also asked them to put forward their issues if any in front of the district administration so that they will be resolved with utmost priority for the smooth functioning of the respective department.
