*Three Public Transport Vehicles blacklisted,two DL’s suspended in Doda* _DM advises public transport union’s to comply with the orders_

Doda, MARCH 21: Taking tough measures for stringent enforcement of Orders issued under the Provisions of Section 34 of National Disaster Management Act, 2005, the ARTO,Doda under the instructions of DM,Dr Sagar D Doifode today blacklisted three public transport vehicles and suspended the two DL’s  for violating the Orders of District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA).
 
During the District Magistrate tour to Gandoh yesterday with DySP DAR Doda while visiting the different areas of the district to ensure the implementation of the orders issued to check spread of COVID-19, the vehicles were found plying on the roads alongwith passenger’s. The vehicles were immediately prohibited to ply further and blacklisted and also the owners/drivers of the vehicles were issued notice by ARTO office to submit their licences in the office without any delay for their suspension otherwise strict action under rule for the violation of DM order will be initiated under Disaster Management Act, 2005.
 
Similarly On the directions of DM Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode, ARTO officials today visited many areas of the district to ensure the implementation of the DM order and found many vehicles plying on the road in violation to the DM orders,in this regard five vehicles registration numbers alongwith drivers name were given to the Police Station Doda for lodging of FIR against them under rule.
 
The District Magistrate, Doda has advised the public transport union’s of District Doda to scrupulously obey and comply with the Orders issued by the DDMA as the same is being done in the larger interest of preventing spread of COVID-19 and saving lives of the citizens.
