District Administration Doda under the supervision of DDC Doda Dr Sagar D. Doifode-IAS is leaving no stone unturned to keep the district Coronavirus Infection free.
 
In this regard district administration has established Various quarantine facilities across the district in order to effectively deal with the Covid-19 cases if any.
 
During the day long tour of the DDC yesterday, he visited newly established 150 bedded quarantine facility at Ex-Servicemen school Thathri, besides he also inspected the established quarantine facilities at PHC Malanoo and newly created quarantine facilities at KV Gandoh and other other medical facilities put in place by the health department there.
 
Meanwhile during the tour of DDC, BDC Chairman’s and Various PRI members met the DDC and also extended gratitude to the district administration for effectively dealing the Covid-19 and also keeping the district free from its menace.
 
Moreover they also highlighted some important issues which includes issue of labourers of Doda district stranded at different locations in the country,to allow milk supplier’s for movement etc.
 
DDC Informed them that district administration has already started it’s outreach initiative in this regard and established a control room under the supervision of CEO BDA who is taking care of every representation pf stranded labourers with utmost priority, besides asked the Police officials to allow the milk supplier’s in the area without hampering the lockdown restrictions.
 
Besides DDC also informed them that for the convenience of the general public across the district, district administration has started 24×7 tele medicine service under a team of Doctors have been placed at the district control room where people can contact them get the online consultation, besides slew of measures were also taken which includes online registration for passes,distribution of ration among destitutes etc.
 
Later DDC visited Govt food Store Bhatyas wherein he inspected the availability of ration and also reviewed the status of distribution. TSO inform that, sufficient storage of ratio is available there and is being accordingly distributed in the area.
 
Speaking to the staff of health, Para medics, Police and other officials of civil administration, DDC first of all congratulated them for working day and night in the service of general public and asked them to keep this motivation going untill the menace of Covid-19 doesn’t come to end, besides ensured them that district administration will provide every kind of support and is already taking care of the safety measures for the field functionaries with utmost priority.
 
DDC Doda was accompanied by BDC Chairpersons of the concerned block’s, SDM Thathri, SDM Gandoh, DySP DAR Doda, SDPO Gandoh, Tehsildar Thathri, Kahara, Gandoh, BMO Thathri, Gandoh, BDO’s, Agriculture Officer, and other health officials.
